DIGEST OF BY LAWS
ARTICLE I - Name
Club shall be known as NETWORK San Diego.
ARTICLE II - Purpose
Organization of business persons dedicated to helping each other expand
their respective businesses.
ARTICLE III - Membership
Participation is an "active class," and for the category designated.
Members must remain in good standing and cannot transfer or sell their
membership.
ARTICLE IV -Commitment
Utilize fellow members when possible for business and personal needs.
Recruit new members, attend meetings, provide leads and conform to the
bylaws.
ARTICLE V - Officers
Officers are elected annually consisting of a President, Vice-president,
Secretary and Treasurer. Vacancies during the year will be filled by the
Board of Directors.
ARTICLE VI - Directors
NETWORK San Diego shall be governed by a Board of Directors. The Board
will consist of the President, past-President, Vice-president, Secretary,
Treasurer, Program Director and Tip (lead) Master.
ARTICLE VII - Election
The election of officers and Directors shall be held at a regular
meeting prior to December 20. The annual meeting will be the second regular
meeting in January at which time the new officers and Board members will
be installed.
ARTICLE VIII - Meetings
The Club will hold weekly meetings commencing at 7:15 am and concluding
by 8:30 am.
ARTICLE IX - NETWORK San Diego
New members will be provided with name badges and a business card
caddie.
ARTICLE X - Revenue
Each new prospective member will pay a one-time membership fee, non-refundable
unless the applicant is not accepted. Members also will be assessed quarterly
dues to cover the cost of weekly meetings.
ARTICLE XI - Committees
The Board of Directors shall determine the number and purpose of all
special and standing committees.
ARTICLE XII - Fines and Rewards
A list determined by the Board of Directors and distributed to the
members by the Sergeant-at-Arms.
ARTICLE XIII -Not For Profit Organization
The Club is organized as a not-for-profit membership and any income
received shall be applied only to non profit functions of the club.
ARTICLE XIV -Amendments
Any amendment or changes to the bylaws may be adopted by a two-thirds
(2/3) vote of active members present. A quorum is required and a two-week
notice will be given.
